Nevada has fast-tracked its software course of for short-term nursing licenses to ease the present scarcity of pediatric nurses, the Las Vegas Evaluation Journal reported. The Nevada State Board of Nursing can now subject a brief Nevada license inside just a few hours to nurses already licensed in one other state, in keeping with Govt Director Cathy Dinauer.
“If the power wants somebody tomorrow evening, they’d have that choice to get someone on board,” Dinauer mentioned.
